As usual it’s time to look back and take stock of what has been done in the past twelve months.
The most important news of 2018 is probably that I’m one of just fifteen builders worldwide selected to have their work showcased in the Masterpiece Gallery at the LEGO House in The LEGO Group’s home in Billund, Denmark. It was an incredible experience, if you’re interested about that take a look at the special feature on The LEGO Car Blog.

About my creations I think I’ve built less than in 2017 due to the fact I’ve spent a lot of time preparing the trip to Billund and resizing the builds for the LEGO House.
Anyway, I built some dioramas in vintage style and few classic vehicles. Plus a couple of retro space tanks: the B-59 in Blacktron livery and the Mobile Laboratory in Ice Planet style.
To celebrate the LEGO House experience I created a bunch of numbered custom Norton74 Minifigures. I was lucky enough to personally give Minifig No.1 to Mr. Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen (aka KKK, grandson of the company’s founder).

Last but not least few days ago my Hot Dog Stand has been chosen as one of the MOCs on the shortlist for The Brothers Brick LEGO Creation of the Year 2018. I feel very honored and happy to be in that short list, just to be there is incredible for me.

Thanks to those who has supported, “faved”, shared my builds and also made constructive critiques.
Thanks to all the great builders out there who are a big source of inspiration. Also a big thank you to all the blogs and magazines that featured my works in 2018.
